Off Page SEO Made Easy

Off Page SEO Made Easy

As I told you in my previous article that their are two methods of search engine optimization. They were:

on page optimization

off page optimization

I discussed in detail about on page optimization and told that though on page optimization is important but it is off page optimization that matters the most when it comes to ranking well in search engines. Off page optimization contains all the techniques that you apply on websites other than yours. Now let’s have a look what these off page optimization factors are

Which page links to you

The number of webpages connecting to you

The page rank of the website linking to you

The page title of the webpage connecting to you

The anchor text used in the link linking to you

The number and type of links connecting to the website that’s linking to you.

The number of outbound links on the website that is linking to you

The total number of links on the site that is linking to you

Whether or not the sites linking to you are deemed by Google as an authority website.

The IP Address of the websites linking to you.

This is not the complete list but these are the prime things that one must consider while carrying out off page optimization. Here I will be explaining them all together don’t forget to mark each of my word or you will forget them:

It is really important to get linked from the websites related to your niche. The greater the number of websites linking to you, the higher will you rank. Try to get linked from a higher rank website as it gets you more numbers to rank well. If the page title of the page linking to you is relevant to the keywords you use, you will gain extra marks. If anchor text is used to link to you, that should also be relevant to your keywords if you want more points. One important but over looked factor is that the website that is linking to you should also have quality backlinks. If it is the case you rank higher. The number of links not linking to you on that page should be as less as possible. The website linking to you should not be banned by Google. If you get the links from a wide variety of IP addresses you rank higher.
