SEO – Why Is It Essential To Online Business?
What is SEO?
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or unpaid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results.
In layman’s term, it is a strategy on how are you going to let Google finds you and put your website at the top of the search engine. Optimizing your blog site, website or even your own affiliate products to Google requires huge time, money and knowledge. Without any of those requirements, your website will not appear in Google search engine.
Two Types of Optimization
1. On-page Optimization:
It is the process in finding your website through the use of keywords and how are you going to place it. Most of the website owners do not have the ability to or knowledge on what keywords are they going to use in their website. If you are going to use any keywords without analyzing it first, probably it will take years for your website to top in Google. Proper knowledge and planning for your keywords is necessary if you want serious traffic for your website.
a. Know how to find proper keywords for your website.
b. You must know which locations you are going to place your keywords.
2. Off-page optimization:
This type of optimization gives 98% of the Google spider to find your website and place it on the top page of your particular niche or desire domain. This process requires a lot of time and time and time. Why? Because it the technique where you are going to analyze your top competitor and duplicate it so that you will rank higher or closer to them. It is the process of linking your website to the other website so that Google can tell that your website is important. The more links that points to your website the better chance in ranking high on Google search.
On-Page optimization is the must do for your website but the off-page optimization is the one who will rank and put your website on the top.
a. Know where to look for your competitor.
b. You must know what are the links that your competitor linked at
c. You must know what their inbound and outbound links are.
d. You must know where to look for their IP address.
e. You must know how many website linked to them.
The information that I’m teaching were the must do in order for your website to rank high. There are hundreds of ways to rank to top on Google searches but to know how is very challenging. Those are the basic yet very effective.
